Portland

Hotel Eastlund is perfectly located in the heart of downtown Portland’s Eastside with convenient access to all that Portland has to offer. Whether you are attending an event at the MODA Center or the Oregon Convention Center, which are both located next to our hotel, or simply embracing the sights and sounds of our fair city – there is always something to do.

Downtown Portland

It’s easy to get downtown, where you’ll find world-class urban recreation, dining, shopping, arts and culture, but each of Portland’s eclectic neighborhoods boasts a unique style and flavor. Indulge yourself in the Pearl District’s art galleries and shops as well as the nation’s largest independent bookstore Powell’s City of Books. Explore the popular Hawthorne District or take a walk through Tom McCall Waterfront Park and the Saturday Farmer’s Market.

The Eastside

In our Eastside neighborhood, you’ll discover a bevy of charming restaurants and shopping, including the Lloyd Center Mall. You can stroll nearby Holladay Park or take in a music show at one of Portland’s more famous music venues just down the street. We also humbly suggest the fresh local fare and panoramic views of our own rooftop bar and restaurant.

Arts & Culture

Portland is a hub of arts and culture from touring acts to the Oregon Symphony and Oregon Ballet Theater. Throughout the year Portland hosts countless festivals, such as the famous Portland Rose Festival which culminates in the Grand Floral Parade. Three of our favorite local events are the Portland Waterfront Blues Fest, Portland International Film Festival and the Portland International Beerfest.

Food & Drink

Oregon is widely known for its exquisite Pinot Noirs, craft beer, distilleries and coffee, so don’t forget to sample local offerings while you are shopping or savoring Portland’s foodie culture. There’s a reason Washington Post writer Tom Seitsema recently ranked ours as the #1 Food City in America.

Sports

Our local sports teams include the NBA’s Portland Trailblazers who play their home games right next door at MODA Center. The Portland Timbers (MLS) and Portland Thorns FC (NWSL) play professional soccer at nearby Providence Park and the University of Oregon is located less than two hours down I-5, which makes Hotel Eastlund a comfortable spot to stay after Ducks home games.

Explore Oregon

Oregon’s breathtaking natural beauty is a short drive away in any direction from Hotel Eastlund. Outdoor activities abound in and around our city, including biking, hiking, skiing and just breathing the clean, fresh Oregon air.

When you stay at Hotel Eastlund, you’ll find that our friendly concierge and team members are always happy to direct you to the best local restaurants and destinations around town. Our goal is to help you have the ultimate Northwest experience!
