FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Lower Boom Presents highlights Northwest filmmakers and storytellers only at Hotel Eastlund. Monthly programming showcases regional feature films, short films, music videos and special projects on Channel 2 in each hotel guestroom.
PORTLAND, ORE — Hotel Eastlund guests can now relax in their own guestroom with an exclusive, curated collection of local indie films, music videos and special projects as part of the new Lower Boom Presents channel. Founded in partnership with Lower Boom’s CEO Matt Schulte, the new channel brings the diversity and depth of Pacific Northwest storytellers and filmmakers to guests staying at the Hotel Eastlund in Portland’s inner eastside neighborhood.
“We are thrilled to offer such a creative experience to our guests,” says Joanne Bosworth, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hotel Eastlund. “Lower Boom Presents brings diverse voices from the region to our guests every month with this exclusive collaboration.”
Schulte brings his long career as a filmmaker and as a writer/director to this new creative venture. One of his latest films, JOAN, was the special opening night selection at the 2015 NW Filmmakers’ Festival in Portland, Oregon, and is one of the Lower Boom Presents films this month on Hotel Eastlund’s TV Channel 2. “We believe that the arts build stronger communities and change people’s lives,” says Schulte. “Our collaboration with Hotel Eastlund gives us a front row seat to showcase our local independent film and music scene to visitors from around the country.”
