Sink Your Teeth Into Portland Dining Month
This March, Travel Portland proudly presents its 9th-annual Portland Dining Month, a celebration of the city’s critically acclaimed dining scene for hungry locals and tourists alike. Foodies, this is your chance to experience some of the nation’s best eats at an affordable price! Now through March 31, more than 100 of Portland’s top restaurants are offering three-course meals for just $33. Read below for a few of our delicious recommendations on the perfect spots to dig in.
- Altabira City Tavern. Book a stay at our Portland hotel this month and start your culinary journey at our gorgeous rooftop restaurant, Altabira City Tavern. Nibble on creative Northwest-inspired dishes from seafood chowder to flourless triple-chocolate mousse cake with brandy cherries and caramel corn.
- Bistro Agnes. Instead of revisiting a Portland classic, why not sample something new at the recently opened Bistro Agnes? Get a taste of Paris from James Beard Award-winning chefs Gren and Gabi Denton whose dining month offerings include pork pate maison, mussels cooked in white wine served with a garlic-rubbed baguette and more.
- Departure. Famed chef Gregory Gourdet will be dishing up the Asian-fusion cuisine that makes Departure one of the hottest eateries in Portland. Try their roasted carrot with smoked cashews, sunchokes and coconut cream, or maybe roasted Pacific snapper with fermented chili and herbs.
- Kachka. You don’t need your passport to be transported to Russia at Southeast Portland’s cozy Kachka. Traditional Russian ingredients cover their dining month menu, which includes a chicken and dumpling tsimmes (stew) and an ice cream float made with the Slavic beverage Kompot.
A stay at our Portland luxury hotel means you’ll be close to the best destinations, restaurants and attractions Portland has to offer. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, the team at Hotel Eastlund looks forward to helping you discover this beautiful city.
