With more breweries than any other city on earth, it’s no secret that Portland knows a thing or two about beer. Each summer, Portland gears up for its hoppiest events and we’ve highlighted the best of the best for you below. Raise a glass to some thirst-quenching summer fun in the greatest beer city in the world, all just moments from our modern Portland hotel.

PDX Beer Week: June 7-16. First up is Portland Beer Week. This 10-day event is a celebration of craft beer culture and all of its tangents, from brewer’s dinners to tastings, seminars to festivals, games and beyond. PDX Beer Week aims to be entertaining, educational, and eye (or palate) opening, and they don’t disappoint.

Portland International Beer Festival: June 28-30. Looking to sample the world’s best beers? Head to Portland International Beer Fest this summer. This three-day specialty beer event is held in the Pearl District North Park Blocks and showcases hard-to-find beers and ciders from all over the world. You’ll find everything from classic styles (pilsners and pales) to exotic new-world hybrids (barrel-aged hoppy farmhouse sours).

Portland Craft Beer Festival: July 4-7. This Independence Day weekend, get your brew on at the Portland Craft Beer Festival. In its fifth year, PCBF kicks off Oregon Craft Beer Month with a premier four day event that brings together breweries within the city limits of Portland and enables them to showcase their beers on a common stage. Don’t miss the selection of Portland-crafted ciders, meads, and wines as well.

Oregon Brewers Festival: July 24-27. The 32nd annual Oregon Brewers Festival, is changing the game this year! For the first time in the festival’s history, they’ll be featuring 100% Oregon craft beers and ciders, with more than 85 of them being first-release products debuting at the event. If you even remotely like beer, you’ll want to make your way to Tom McCall Waterfront Park this July for one of the nation’s longest-running and best-loved craft beer festivals.
