Design Week Portland Heads to Hotel Eastlund

Each year we look forward to Design Week Portland – a weeklong, citywide series of programs exploring the process, craft and practice of creative design. Ever pushing forward, the city of Portland continues to emerge as a dynamic, innovative hub of creativity. We are thrilled to open our doors to design enthusiasts on April 27 between 5:30-9:30 p.m. for a special Design Crawl event intended to connect, educate and inspire.

The IIDA (International Interior Design Association) Oregon Chapter, a professional organization for the interior design community of Portland, invites you to visit three beautifully-crafted 2016 Design Excellence Award-winning spaces: Bee Thinking, Ruby Receptionists and our very own Hotel Eastlund, accompanied by knowledgeable design professionals.

Tasty appetizers and beverages will be served throughout the night. Limited transportation will be provided to each location and return attendees to their starting location at the end of the night. Attendees will be able to use personal transportation as well but must be at each scheduled location prior to the tour commencing.

The IIDA Oregon Chapter will assign a starting location the week before the event. Based on the starting location, a single bus will provide transportation for that specific route only. Guests will be grouped by their bus or provide their own transportation.

It’s just $35 for members, $50 for non-members, $25 for student members, $40 for non-member students and $30 for board members to join in on the aesthetically-pleasing and delicious fun! Register here and direct questions to Kyle Holzkamp at kholzkam@pfnw.com.

After you explore our downtown Portland hotel as part of the Design Crawl, why not take a weekend to really explore Hotel Eastlund. You’ll be close to the best destinations, restaurants, and attractions the city has to offer. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, we look forward to helping you discover Portland!
